Fifteen years in the IT industry and ten years as an entrepreneur have given me a unique perspective on the world of software development: I can speak to developers about the business of programming, and to businesspeople about the technicalities of writing software.

My speaking style is informal, but to the point—usually accompanied by a carefully-crafted presentation that eschews wordy bullet points in favour of visual constructs to engage and interest the audience. I have spoken on both sides of the Atlantic, keynoting such events as the 2008 Dutch PHP Conference in Amsterdam and the 2009 LAMP Camp in Nashville, TN.
